JOHNNY B SAYS

Entering our Hall of Fame this cycle is Organ Donor (JDL). He ends his 9-year career with a record of 1,295-486-82, $4,573,200 in earnings, and 26 stars. During that time he won many honors, including a World Six-man title, a Jade Federation belt, and the King of the Ring crown. His manager, Dan Delaney of Ohio, will receive a plaque!

Ian Greaves of New York is retiring two of his WYD members from the ASL this cycle. Ambulance Chasing Lawyer (1,133-356-73, $3,404,700 *24) is a former U.S. Champion and was a one-time runner-up for the World title. Chef Ra (1,074-481-79, $4,223,700 *27) is a former King of the Ring who held both the Eastern and Gold Federation titles. He also missed winning the World title by point flow (back in 1998). Ian's managerial skills have earned him two engraved plaques!

WORLD CHAMPION

The Tsmoothnami struck as Æ: "Venom" Eddie Brock (IML) captured the World title for the Smooth One Jeff Manning of College Corner, Ohio! He edged out both Æ: Abdullah Al Cruel (UFL) and FDC: Tony "The King of Pancrase" Robinson (HTL) to win the Iron Federation title, and ended up with the choice of 100 free matches or a real wrestling belt plus 50 free matches. His strategy was worth 501 points.

U.S. CHAMPION

Whit Whitaker of Indiana won the choice between an engraved plaque and 25 free matches by managing PA: Renegade Terry Idol (HTL) to point flow victory over fellow TV champions Æ: Cerebus (IIL) and IP/X-RAIDED: Showtime Joe Sandstrom (ASL). All three had a perfect 501-point total. Good going, Whit!

KING OF THE RING

Gaining an engraved plaque or 25 free matches for coaching Æ: Bad News Blake (BRL) to this title was Sly Smith of West Virginia! (He was entered in the running for this title because he was mistakenly left out of his league battle royal.) After adding the values of hold positions 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 14, and 15 in the strategy of every battle royal winner, Blake's total of 274 was the highest. The second highest total was 273, which belonged to the Hulkster Hulk Hogan (RHL). He is managed by Cory Black of Ohio, who gave him an impressive 500-point strategy!

FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS

Eddie Brock, managed by Jeff Manning of Ohio, conquered the Iron Federation and then the IWA World title. The Smooth One also took the Bronze honors, using Æ: Amazing Aardvark (TML). He had to edge out Bill "The Bonecrusher" Alston (MAL) since both had a 500. The Tsmoothnami struck a third time, as Æ: Polish Power Jakub Pavlik (PKL) squeaked past FDC: Tony Ceno (JIL) to win in the Jade Federation! Both were armed with 500-pointers. Picking up $40,000 in earnings plus 25 free matches for his manager was Steel Federation champion "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher Lawler (MRL). Ronnie Wagoner of North Carolina led him to point flow victory over last cycle's champion, Æ: Brimstone (IIL), plus the Hoov (TGL) and Luigi Antonelli (CCL). All four had 501 points. (Nice job, Ronnie!) Taking the Gold prize was CORE: Snake Badlands (OGL), managed by Oliver Storz of Germany. He edged out Tacoma Thunder (NDL), plus Æ stable members Bad News Blake (TDL), Ayatollah M (CLL), and John Kibbles (ASL). Each had a 500 total. Gregg Boyle of Maryland won the Diamond title by helping Æ: G Money (LOL) defeat DC: Corruption (WKL), TOA: Ruler of the IWA (CRL), and UKA: Sinister Shane Silliman (ALL) by point flow. They each had a 500-pointer.
