After winning your first-ever IWA World title, what do you do for an encore? If you're manager Steven J. Deane, you parlay it into back-to-back gold! He gets to keep the game's highest honor in his possession a little longer, as well as the Asian title (which he also retained!), the Iron Federation strap, the U.S. belt, both the men's and ladies' National titles, and a few assorted regionals. Well done, Steven! The last time a player was able to hold onto the World Championship was in the January cycle, when "The Smooth One" Jeff Manning pulled off the rare feat.
In related news, IWA Legend Terrence Boyd is now one win short of a dozen career King of the Ring crowns! Congratulations are also in ORDER for manager Robert Lawson, whose multiple accomplishments this cycle included claiming both the World and Hardcore straps for the new BBL ladies' spin-off, Blood Bath Women. And, as usual, the rest of the belts went home with manager Frank Jay Belcher III.
