The field of 205 competitors was gradually whittled down to a mere 17, each of whom received the tidy sum of $100,000 in imaginary money (three enjoyed a second helping). The first runners-up took home $25,000 checks, and those in third earned themselves a $10,000 payday -- not too shabby for one night's work, grueling as it was.
