Finally, a couple of shout-outs: This is the third time manager Steven J. Deane has held the IWA World title in his career -- and also in the last seven cycles! In the username checks out department, "Queen of the Ring" Aria Gunpowder made her debut in the NWL during the August 2021 cycle. Under contract to Patrick Wallace, she had a stint in the IWL the following year during the Spring and April tours, then joined the rest of the female talent who were forming the posse now known as the Black Widow League. Riding in with a bang, she scored the Luchadoras Championship right out of the gate, and claimed the league's prestigious Queen of the Ring crown just a few rounds back (hence the prophetic label). I wouldn't say I'm unhappy about her success this cycle, exactly, but I would have preferred that she'd won something like the Ladies' World honors instead, so I could have possibly collected another $2 name-change fee.
